Our Trip

Last weekend Darrell, Carson, and I went to Delaware for a wedding. The trip up wasn't as bad as I had thought. Carson did really well in the car. We spent two nights in Rehoboth Beach. Saturday morning we drove down to Ocean City, MD. Man was it HOT!! The beach was really WIDE!!! We had a nice walk and lunch before heading back to Rehoboth. Nicki's and Andy's wedding was AMAZING!! Spent a few hours dancing and playing with Carson at the reception. Sunday we woke up and went to visit Nicki's parents Marlin and Lois before heading to PA for two days. The drive to PA was interesting Darrell's parents were interesting in the car. LOL. Made it to York PA after driving in a really nasty rain storm. In York we stayed with some friends of Darrell's family Larry and Alice. Larry and Alice actually live in the house where Darrell and Garrett grew up. It was neat seeing the house that my husband grew up in. Went to dinner with some more friends of Darrell's family. Got a great night sleep in the basement that was dark and COLD!!! Monday we woke up and took Carson for his first train ride on the Strausburg Railroad. It was amazing. Seeing all the country life and just the simpler way of life. I loved it!!! Carson loved the train whistle and looking out the window. What a great memory to make with Carson. Then we went to an Amish restaurant for lunch. I have never eaten so much in one sitting. We had roast beef, chicken, sausage, mashed potatoes, corn, applesauce, broccoli, noddles, bread, cheese cake, shoofly pie, peach crumble pie, ice cream, and tapiocia pudding. I was stuffed!!! Then we went walking around the next town for several hours. The quilt shops were amazing. All in all it was fun trip. But is so nice to be home!!!!!!

Silly Boy

Today Carson didn't want me to take off his jammie top. He wanted to wear it like it is in the picture. What a ham!! :) Carson is having a better day today than the last few days. He has three teeth coming in and is really struggling with them. He is crawling all over the place and cruising the furniture. He is becoming such a big boy. Tonight we are taking pictures with Melanie for fun down at the Conway Marina. Look for them soon.
